Honest Scrap Award

I am very proud and honored to have been given this Honest Scrap award by Chris at CC Chronicles. It's to acknowledge those whose blogs are "from the heart."

- My favorite word is "Believe."
- I am a certified cat lover. Just adore those little furries!
- I hate spiders.
- I have a terrible fear of fire - even the flames of candles make me nervous.
- I am addicted to Mega-Double Lollies.
- My favorite food is salad.
- I love coffee (although I drink decaf - I still drink it all day).
- I also love espresso. I have a mug of that every morning, then on to the decaf.
- I love the old B&W movies from the 30s and 40s.
- My favorite color is purple.

Thanks for thinkin' of the old silly one. I actually got this award a while back, but it's the thought that counts and I do sincerely appreciate it. Plus I'm going to give you a compliment and tell you I think you are a very beautiful woman - that IS you picture over there, right? Good looking AND smart and talented? Not fair to the rest of us plain folks! lol

Mega Double Lollies are just a big ball of flavored sugar on a stick! They come wrapped, and I take a hammer to them and break them into bite-sized pieces. They ARE most definitely "delish!" LOL!

(Mmmm...think I'll go get that hammer now...)

APOSTROPHE USE WITH POSSESSIVE NOUNS
Excellent and very thorough. Got this one copied and stored along with ALL your tutorials in my Crystal Clear Writing folder. :)

Another excellent post. I always have trouble with these.

Now that my eyes have re-focused after glazing over, I can say that this is why writers need to hire editors--So they don't have to think too much about grammar. I can't keep all the darn rules straight in my head. Thanks for doing what you do. I am cutting and pasting this into a new word file for grammar tips.
